Wristlock (contd.)
The second version is more painful and effective. If put on the left arm of your opponent, your right hand is outside as in the previous wrist lock controlling the wrist but your left arm comes up with your forearm next to the back of your opponents arm below the side deltoid and your left hand grasps the other side of your opponents wrist so both hands control the wrist. An effective bar is formed by the left arm and when pressure is applied back by both hands and arms this hold is very painful.

I believe this hold is effective, especially the second version. You don't see it much in ultimate fight situations which might lead one to think that the hold is not very practical. However, there are a lot of holds that are effective that you don't see much. I'd be interested to hear some different ideas on this. Also, in a self defense situation I believe this hold is very effective if you can get it. It takes speed and the right situation.
