STANDING ANKLE TWIST AND SPREAD EAGLE
The standing ankle twist is applied with your opponent on their back and you with leg control. When applying the hold to your opponents left leg, your left arm starts on the outside of the leg and comes up grasping the bottom of the foot. As you twist the ankle to the outside, your right hand is placed over your left hand for greater leverage. The problem is, your opponent may be able to roll to the left and minimize the pressure or escape. In the next photo, you will see a solution to this problem.
